Football in Guernsey cannot survive without the dedication of the many volunteer referees currently participating every week.

Our aim is to provide the support and experience to anybody interested in becoming a referee and to help you progress your skills as far as you want. Whether you aspire to officiate on the Premiership or to referee local Sunday football, we can provide you with the support, training and resources to assist you in achieving your goal.

FAQS

The minimum age to book onto and attend a referee course is 14. There is no maximum age.

 

Candidates who book onto a referee course are required to read up on the Laws of the Game before attending so that they are aware of the terminology and understanding of law to assist them through the practical course.

All referee candidates are required to complete an FA Safeguarding certification and anyone aged 16+ and officiating in Youth Football will need to have a valid FA CRC certificate in place to be registered to referee any matches
