Inclusion Advisory Group Recruitment
Having secured the Preliminary Level Award of the UK National Equality Standard for Sport in 2023, Guernsey Football Association is keen to introduce an Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG) to continue the positive work.
When formed, this group will report directly to the GFA Board of Directors on all issues relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
It is intended that membership of this group will reflect the diversity within the island and be made up of individuals and representatives of organisations that can best provide advice in relation to the participation of various diverse communities in local football.
It is anticipated that the group will meet formally a minimum of four times each calendar year, and support the GFA to deliver its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan. The group will lead a pivotal role in reviewing this Plan, and overseeing its delivery.
GFA are now looking to recruit members of the group - by application. A clear role specification is attached for the information of all would-be-members.
It is expected that individuals elected to the group will have the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience to have a positive and meaningful impact in relation to the Terms of Reference. Please note that the posts are available to volunteers only (no salary is available).
If you believe you could be one of the people to become part of a very important team within the GFA, we would urge you to read the attached documents and to confirm your interest as soon as you can by putting your name forward for consideration to become a member of this group by emailing Joelle Priaulx
The GFA would also like to appoint a Chair to the IAG, if you would like to apply please complete the application form below.
