The date of four of the Inter Insular matches in the months ahead have changed following problems arising through the limited inter-island travel services.

Guernsey FA Chief Executive Officer, Gary Roberts, commented:

“Unfortunately, we have been left with no option but to change the date of the U16 Nigel Gavey, Under 15 Star Trophy, U21 Ambassadeur Bowl and Muratti semi-final matches as a consequence of the limited travel options now available between the various Channel Islands. Whilst all involved with organising these matches recognise that this may cause some inconvenience, there was no viable alternative option because it was simply impossible to complete the required travel arrangements for those initial dates. The new dates are all now confirmed, and we look forward to the return of Representative level inter-insular football in the months ahead, starting with the U18 Junior Muratti on 6^th March.”

The dates for the inter-insular matches are as follows:

6^th March           Under 18's Muratti

23^rd April            Muratti Semi Final

24^th April            U16 Nigel Gavey Trophy

30^th April            Under 21's Ambassadeur Bowl

1^st May               Under 15 Star Trophy

21^st May             Men’s Muratti Final

22^nd May            Women’s Muratti
