On Monday the 20th of September 2021 we travelled to Petit Port with St Sampsons High School (Year 7) for some alternative PE, an event organised by the Guernsey Sports Commission. Half of the year group attended in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. The only land access to to the beach is down over 270 steps, once navigating this challenge, the next activity was to collect litter to ensure the beach was safe and clean for use. Once all of the litter had been collected it was time to begin the multiple sporting activities on offer. Football was one of the many activities available to the children. Once the sporting activities were completed, the final challenge was to ascend over 270 steps back to the car park to board the bus in hot conditions!
