CHRIS TARDIF COACHING WITH JOHN NOBES AND KEVIN GILLIGAN

Chris Tardif Resigns

Guernsey FA Senior Men’s Representative Manager, Chris Tardif, resigned from his position with immediate effect on Friday 26th November.

In his resignation, Tardif commented:

“I have always had a large desire to give back to the Island that gave me the opportunity of my professional career. I have football in my blood and have an experience in the game as good as anyone else locally albeit on the first steps of the coaching side. I believe I have so much left to give but unfortunately circumstances have made this opportunity untenable at the present time. There is more than an element of unfinished business that’s for sure and being in football most of my life, I know how quickly things can change.”

Guernsey FA Chairman, Chris Schofield responded to the resignation and commented:

“On behalf of the Board I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the contribution Chris made to senior men’s representative football since his appointment, which included leading a relatively young and inexperienced squad to a runner-up position in the 2019 Ynys Mon Football Tournament. The Board wish Chris well with his future coaching endeavours.”

The Guernsey FA Board will now take some time to review the situation before making any further announcements about the Senior Men’s Representative Manager position.
