Primary School PE 2020-2021
We are pleased to announce that we have finalised our Primary School PE timetable for School Years 5 & 6 in partnership with the Guernsey Sports Commission, and, more specifically, the School Sports Partnership.
During the 2020-2021 Academic Year we will be delivering Primary School PE Lessons at the following Primary Schools:
St Mary and St Michael |
La Mare De Carteret |
Notre Dame |
St Martins |
Amherst |
Castel |
Forest |
La Houguette |
Le Rondin |
Vale |
Vauvert |
The Primary School PE Lessons will primarily be delivered by Football Development Officer, Angus Mackay (UEFA B/Level 3 Coach), Female Football Development Officer, Joelle Pengelley (Level 2 Coach) & Community Football Development Assistant: Jordan Kelly (Level 2 Coach).
Guernsey FA Staff, Joelle Pengelley, Jordan Kelly and Angus Mackay have all completed the 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills Development in Sport in partnership with the Guernsey Sports Commission. This qualification was designed to help Sports Development Officers and Guernsey Sports Commission Staff deliver high quality PE Lessons in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The course supplements additional sports specific and generic qualifications for those delivering PE Lessons.
The Sports Commission have worked incredibly hard to keep improving the quality of PE Delivery in the Bailiwick of Guernsey, by not only providing additional qualifications and training, but providing additional staff, improving lesson planning documentation and linking PE delivery to the Bailiwick of Guernsey Curriculum.
