We are pleased to confirm that we will be running the FA Junior Football Leaders Award [JFLA], details as follows:

Date: Sunday the 17th of June 2018

Time: 10am-5pm

Venue: Victoria Avenue

Cost: £35 per candiate

The FA Junior Football Leaders Award, awarded by FA Education, provides a basic introduction to the leadership skills required when involved in football. The course introduces four areas: assisting football activity sessions, an introduction to refereeing, helping with a team and different football events. In addition to these areas, Respect, promoting and developing the game are embedded.

Minimum age: 12

Course Duration: 6 hours, learners also need to complete 4 hours of volunteering

This course has been made possible through our partnership with Ravenscroft, who have been supporting the Guernsey FA with the delivery of the JFLA in Secondary Schools on the island for the last two seasons (2016/17 and 2017/18). This will be the first course, in partnership with Ravenscroft, that is open to young people from all schools on the island.
