Challenge and Change Coaches Forum

On Wednesday 9th March, the Guernsey FA will be hosting a workshop for local grassroots coaches to provide an opportunity for local football coaches t

The workshop will be hosted by Colin Fallaize, GFA Coach Mentor and Steve Sharman, GFA Director of Youth Football and will be an open forum that provides an opportunity for local coaches to engage with Guernsey FA representatives regarding the quality of existing coaching delivery, future coach education delivery, support opportunities and understanding how to gain maximum output from the minimal time available to volunteer coaches.

Guernsey FA is committed to supporting local Clubs, and the volunteer coaches within those clubs, to provide appropriate learning and development opportunities to ensure that the sport continues to evolve and grow. Coaches have the opportunity to exert great influence on all players, irrespective of ability, and the Guernsey FA is looking to establish appropriate support programmes to best enable coaches to ensure that the influence is positive, and players are challenged to develop outside of their comfort zone.

This forum is suitable for coaches involved in local grassroots football that are coaching at Youth and Senior levels for both men’s and women’s football and will be held at the GFA Office at the Corbet Field, starting at 7.00pm.

Refreshments will be available on the evening.
