Welcome to GFA
Guernsey County FA has been in existence since 1893 and boasts a proud history. As the governing body for the national game in Guernsey, we are responsible for efficiently and effectively governing and developing football throughout the Island(s), We do so in a committed manner whereby positive participation is promoted regardless of age, ability, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity or socioeconomic status.
With 19 affiliated clubs, including Guernsey FC which will participate in the Combined Counties Premier League during the upcoming season, we are responsible for the development of clubs, coaches, players and referees. This is achieved through consultation with the national governing body to ensure the creation of carefully structured participation programmes for all to access, in relation to the FA National Game Strategy.
Guernsey FA is responsible for ensuring that developmental structures exist, which enable players, coaches, referees and volunteers to develop both individually and as part of a club or league. At all times, participation in a safe and enjoyable environment remains central in our planning and delivery.
As a service focused organization, Guernsey FA is committed to continuously searching for ways in which the service we provide the community can be improved. Consequently, the Guernsey FA Customer Charter serves as a guide to our communication with the football community in the Island. As a progressive organisation however, this Charter will evolve as a result of internal evaluations and the feedback we hope you will provide us with to ensure the quality of our delivery is of the highest possible standard.
