Ambassadeur Bowl Preview 2019

On Saturday 13th April, Guernsey will travel to Jersey for the 2019 edition of the annual Under 21 Ambassadeur Bowl fixture, which was first played in 1988/89 season.

Guernsey will be looking to retain the Ambassadeur Bowl Trophy that they have held for the last four years, with the most recent victory coming at the Track Cycling Ground in 2018 after a 3-2 triumph.  Those four consecutive victories have given Guernsey a 17 – 13 advantage in victories across the history of the competition.

As part of the preparations for this match, current Under 21 Manager, Angus Mackay, has again seen his squad participate in the annual Malaya Cup match, whilst the team has also hosted the Royal Navy U23 squad in February. Mackay, and assistant Tom Strawbridge, have selected the match day squad, which is as follows:

Jordan Kelly

Lorcan Smith

Tyler McKane

Thomas Dodds

Colton Fletcher

Louis Graham

Louis Falla

Ben Le Tocq

Ben Bullock

Aidan McKay

Harry Henderson

Charlton Gauvin

Fin Whitmore

Kick-off at Springfield Stadium is 2.00pm.
