Code of Cunduct for Association Officials

Officials of The Guernsey Football Association LBG (The Association) will:

In their obligations towards the Game:

1. Set a positive example for others, particularly young players / supporters.
2. Share knowledge and experience when invited to do so.
3. Avoid all forms of gamesmanship.
4. Show due respect to Match officials and others involved in the game.
5. Always have regard to the best interests of the game.
6. Not use or tolerate inappropriate language.
7. Give priority to the interests of the game over individual interests.
8. Resist all illegal or unsporting influences, including banned substances and techniques.
9. Promote ethical principles.
10. Show due respect to the interests of players, coaches and other officials, of their own teams and others.

In their obligations towards the Supporters:

11. Show due respect to the interests of supporters.

In their obligations towards the Match Officials:

12. Accept the decisions of the Match official without protest.
13. Avoid words or actions, which may mislead a Match official.
14. Show due respect towards Match officials.

Any official of The Association who disregards or breaches this Code of Conduct or whose conduct is brought to the attention of any other official may face disciplinary action in accordance with The Association Rules.
