This Season the Centre will accommodate 120 players aged U6-U14 within the playing programme which challenges the skills and development of the players.
The Centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people; the coaching, welfare and administrative staff. Guernsey FA's Centre of Excellence is not only committed to the development of the players, but to the development of its staff, to ensure that they are given the best opportunity, in the right environment to have fun, learn and develop and achieve the best that they can.
The Centre of Excellence is committed to the development of players and as such aims to enhance standards in youth football.
As part of the National Game Strategy and to that the GFA 4 year plan, the Centre will provide an Elite Pathway for players attending. The centre is being sponsored and supported by Portsmouth FC, who will employ local coaches at the Centre.The Centre has become one of the 10 Professional Development Centres run by Portsmouth FC Academy.

The players within the Centre train on a Friday and Wednesday evening between 1800 - 2100 at Baubingy Schools (St Sampsons high all weather pitch), and friday evening 1700 - 1900 at Rue mainguy Scout Headquarters.
